1977 Stage 1 V8 Prototype

The stage 1 series 111 was the model that led Land Rover into the 110 models . This particular example is possibly the oldest survivor and was made in 1977 as a prototype , Stage 1`s didnt go into production until 1979 Magazine published vehicle with copies of feature

We have sypathetically recommisioned this truck after long term storage .

The body was lifted off the chassis which was sanblasted , repaired and powder coated 

The rebuilt with all new brakes and lines with new springs and shocks . 

It was built as a factory Left hand drive and is still in this configuration  

The paint is totally original which has just been power polished and waxed , it has battle scars and looks wonderful . 

The bulkhead required repair so that has been painted . 

Shotblasted wheels and replaced tyres 

New side steps and mudflaps 

Original interior , seats are worn , all the tunnel trim is unique and intact 

The engine has only covered 36k miles genuine . 

A new clutch  , alternator , starter motor , exhaust and radiator have also been added 

New exmoor sanc canvass tilt with side windows 

She runs well and just needs owning and enjoying .
